This has been a very difficult year for brides and thier wedding plans with Covid-19 and the social distancing restrictions. Almost all of my May weddings had to reschedule for later in the year. Thankfully, for Heather and Ethan’s wedding on May 30th, many wedding venues around SC, including Hidden Acres, were beginning to open back up. Beautiful bridal portraits at Rosewood Manor in Marion, SC

This was my first time doing photography at the Rosewood Manor Bed & Breakfast in Marion, SC. I understand this is a popular bridal portraits location, in fact there was another bride finishing up her portraits right before we arrived. I actually shot these pictures a few months ago, but as always with bridal portraits, I have to wait until after the wedding to post them. Springtime country wedding at Wildberry Farm with an outdoor ceremony – Marion, SC

This was my second time photographing a country wedding at Wildberry Farm near Marion, SC. Since this wedding was in late spring, the flowers in the garden were blooming, and the grass and trees were all green. These were things I missed out on at my earlier winter wedding there.  Instead of having the ceremony inside the chapel, they set up the chairs and arbor on the lawn beside the lake. Winter wedding at Wildberry Farm in Marion, SC

This was my first time photographing a wedding at Wildberry Farm in Marion. It’s similar to another old farm location I loved from a previous wedding. Wildberry Farm is a beautiful area with a small wedding chapel, a house for the bride to get ready, and a huge reception area. They have a couple of old barns that also make for some good photo spots. It’s unusual for me to have a wedding in the middle of January.
