This fun wedding at the Litchfield Country Club in Pawleys Island was a great way to start the 2019 wedding season! Even though it was early in March, the temperature was perfect. It was overcast for most of the day including during the ceremony. However, the sun poked out from the clouds just in time for some beautiful sunset shots of the couple on the golf course. I always have a lot of fun photographing weddings at the Ocean Club at Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach. My latest beach wedding for Sara and John was no exception. Sara had me arrive a little earlier then usual to start taking pictures, about 2 1/2 hours before the ceremony. This turned out to be a good idea with 11 groomsmen and 9 bridesmaids in the party! This beautiful wedding at a private home in Pawleys Island was a great way to start my busy spring season. A couple of weeks before the wedding, I met the bride at her wedding location for some portraits. The marsh boardwalks in Pawleys are always beautiful for pictures. I love doing bridal or engagement photos before a wedding to get to know a client and make sure they like my style. The Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club has been one of my favorite wedding locations for many years now. They have some new event staff at Pawleys Plantation I met for the first time. They were very friendly and everything went smoothly with the ceremony and reception. They also remodeled the ballroom a while back with a more modern look and nicer colors. The wedding I’m featuring this week was from the Litchfield Country Club in Pawleys Island. It’s actually been a couple of years since I have done a wedding at this location.
