Sunset wedding on the veranda at the Members Club at Grande Dunes

I always love going to the Grande Dunes Members Club for weddings. It’s a beautiful clubhouse located on the golf course inside the Grande Dunes. This bride wore a stunning lace-covered ball gown. This is a perfect dress for getting pictures of the bride standing in a doorway with the full dress flowing out behind her. Working with some of my favorite wedding vendors, including Sara from Stunning and Brilliant Events and DJ Scott and Company, was also great.

I began the day by taking pictures of the bride’s wedding dress and other details. I always love photos of the bride putting on her earrings in the mirror. The bride also did an emotional first look with her father in front of the clubhouse. I also took beautiful pictures of the bride in the light from her dressing room window. The ceremony was held on the back porch or veranda area behind the clubhouse. This is a beautiful ceremony location and gives soft shade to the wedding party as well as everyone in attendance. The groom also had his daughters as part of the ceremony as well.

After the ceremony, I took the bride and groom out on the golf course for pictures and in the archway in front of the clubhouse. Then we went back inside for the reception and dancing. The Members Club ballroom has two large rooms that open up to each other for the reception. They can put the dance floor outside the main ballroom for a larger wedding like this one, so there is plenty of space for large groups.
